Superfood Chocolate Chunk Paleo Coconut Flour Brownies ALOHA Giveaway1

It’s that ever since I made a committed action to check out the #SummerSWEATseries workout routines and some of the diet plans, I’ve made a conscious work about the amount of glucose and sweet treats I’ve been putting into my own body. When I really do indulge it is almost always a spoonful or two of vanilla almond butter or some dessert chia proteins bars that I’ve been making (coming soon!). But lately brownies have been on my mind; you all know that generally I’m obsessed with cookies but I am craving chocolates like no additional.
When I’m baking for myself (or your blog), I try to keep an eye on the ingredients that I’m using, ensuring most are natural and unrefined. I also have a tendency to like strange hippie dippie nutritious things in my own sweets, like chickpeas and black beans, or sometimes even avocados. This time, I had been set out on cooking a grain free of charge, paleo brownie with coconut flour.
I’ve been addicted to coconut flour recently (in the event that you couldn’t tell). Investor Joe’s gets the cheapest coconut flour I can find and the task of cooking with it is fun for me. Plus Decrease CARBS FTW.
An organization that I am caring lately is Aloha , who also are actually sponsors of the #summerSWEATseries. They make the most ridiculously delicious superfood delicious chocolate bars , packed with antioxidants and True good-for-you nutrients.
They sent me a few samples of their delicious chocolate bars and I was immediately hooked, not merely due to the flavor, but also because of the high-quality ingredients. Aloha chocolate consists of natural cacao coffee beans sourced from Peru, are sweetened with coconut sugars just AND each pub consists of superfoods like organic cacao, raspberries and blueberries. They’re fair trade, organic, gluten free of charge and vegan. I unquestionably knew they’d become wonderful chopped up into chunks and thrown into my brownie batter.
Best of all, Aloha is offering 40% off purchases of $40 or even more! This offer is certainly good one time just. All you have to do is certainly enter ‘SWEATSERIES’ at checkout. The offer will be good through the end of July and it is for USA citizens only.
I try to balance my diet plan in as many ways as possible so that’s why after i baked a batch of the brownies, I ate 5 and called it dinner. It wasn’t my purpose but I COULD NOT STOP. This is also a PSA you’ve been warned concerning how addicting these brownies are.
I don’t care if they don’t possess butter or glucose or your regular flour; they flavor like pure Platinum and I inhaled them without any regrets.
So let’s talk ingredients, shall we? I always love having this small convo along with you because quite often I’ll obtain asked about substitutions in cooking, particularly when it comes to coconut flour. That little gem of the flour is really a tricky SOB.
Coconut oil: I would recommend using an unrefined coconut essential oil. It’s full of healthy fatty acids that maintain your metabolism completely swing. HOWEVER if you’d like, you can sub butter. (Although then your brownies wouldn’t normally be dairy free.) You decide to do you.
Coconut flour: Like I said, coconut flour is tricky. I take advantage of Investor Joe’s and swear because of it but there are many great brands on the market. It is critical to note that the brownie batter consistency should be for the leaner side, but not therefore thin it pours like drinking water. Should this happen then you will have to stir within a tablespoon or two extra of coconut flour. The explanation for the variations in flour is usually that all coconut flour brands seem to absorb liquid differently.
Nut butter: Yes, this makes a difference. Don’t ask me why, but every time I added a tablespoon of nut butter to the batter, the brownies arrived MUCH better. You can use any nut butter you select! (Notice: Peanut butter is not paleo, nonetheless it Is certainly delicious.)
Cocoa powder: Do not make use of Hershey’s cocoa powder. Seek when you can discover Ghirardelli or another edition at the store. Honestly a high-quality unsweetened cocoa natural powder makes all the difference. You can also use cacao natural powder for more dietary benefits.
Eggs: Okay, I understand that some of you will enquire about using an egg replacer. As well as the poor news is the fact that I haven’t attempted to make these having a flax egg. I am speculating that it would work, but considering the amount of flax eggs you’d need to make use of, the batter might begin tasting like flax seeds rather than brownies. I would not recommend it. Sorry!
Aloha Superfood CHOCOLATES Club : Just mouth watering. FOR REALS. Experience free to utilize the whole bar if you want. This recipe just calls for half (about 1.1 oz).
I hope you LOVE these coconut flour brownies! In the event that you make sure they are, I’d love for you to snap an image and label #ambitiouskitchen on Instagram so I can see your creation.
Formula type: Brownies, Paleo, Pubs, Gluten Free of charge, Grain Free, Dairy products Free
Prep period:
10 mins
Cook time:
15 mins
Total time:
25 mins
3 eggs, at area temperature (IMPORTANT)
1/2 cup real organic maple syrup (Quality B is most beneficial)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon almond butter (or any nut butter of preference)
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (TJ’s or Ghirardelli is definitely good)
1/4 cup coconut flour (I used Trader Joe’s)
1/2 of an Aloha Superfood Chocolate pub (about 1.1 oz), coarsely chopped into chunks
Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling
Preheat oven to 350 levels F. Grease an 8×8 inch pan with coconut essential oil or spray with nonstick cooking spray. In the bowl of an electric mixer (you can also use a meals processor or do it yourself), add coconut oil, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla and almond butter; combine on medium acceleration until well mixed.
Note: IT REALLY IS SO important that you use room temp eggs in this recipe. If you do not, the coconut essential oil may solidify as well as your damp batter can be chunky looking. Should this happen, you can place all elements within a saucepan over medium-low temperature and whisk before coconut essential oil melts again; this might take about five minutes. Once coconut essential oil has melted once again and the blend looks soft, remove from temperature instantly and transfer back into the bowl of the mixer.
Next add in cocoa powder and coconut flour and convert mixer about low speed. Blend until ingredients are well combined. Pour batter into ready skillet and sprinkle chocolate chunks at the top after that smooth top with a plastic spatula. Bake 13-18 moments or until knife comes out clean in the middle. They may look underdone but if they knife happens clean, then they are done! Mine were perfect at a quarter-hour. Sprinkle with coarse ocean salt.
Cool skillet completely in wire rack before serving. Makes 12 portions. Brownies are also delicious when cool; they obtain extra fudgy!
Please work with a 8×8 in . pan for baking these. A 9×9 in . pan could be too small and your brownies will be very thin and delicate. Another choice is to bake them in two 8×4 in . loaf pans.
The batter should be on the thinner side, but not so thin that it’s pure water (like water). If this happens, blend in another tablespoon or two of coconut flour.
If you’re a chocoholic, feel free to mix in full delicious chocolate bar (about 2.2 oz total).
Please usually do not try to sub other flours instead of the coconut flour. You will not accomplish the same results as coconut flour is very specific in it’s necessary liquid to dried out ingredient ratio.
You can use cacao powder rather than cocoa powder to get more nutrition.

We am still trying to find a protein natural powder that I really like and love to use as many ways as possible, rather than just tolerate it. but for those that I’ve found so far that I love my favorite way to use it is in pancakes being a flour replacement-
1 scoop protein, 1/4 c egg whites, 1/2 mashed banana, dash of cinnamon, 2 T almond milk, dash of vanilla extract and some other add ins/toppings so desired, like fruits, coconut, nuts, nut butter ect. ?
so excited about this giveaway! I noticed Aloha awhile ago and have been really thinking about trying it!! especially their chocolate bars since I am a chocaholic along with a health food nut.
These appear delicious! I’m dependent on brownies and anything chocolate.
I like cooking with protein natural powder but lately the best way to utilize it is to produce protein sludge. Right after a workout I mix 1 scoop protein powder, drinking water and a tiny bit of maple syrup or uncooked honey together. I like to best it with peanuts and almonds and sometime make use of cocoa or cacao powder.
1 scoop protein powder
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp cooking powder
~1/4 c almond milk
Combine and microwave to discover the best tasting mug cake that’s filled with protein.
These appear suuuper fudgy, I really like it!
I love to blend my protein powder with yogurt and top with fruits and nuts like a post workout snack ?

I’m the sort of individual who needs a nice dessert deal with everynight and most of the time I make an effort to maintain it healthy as possible. These pubs are perfect!!
For protein powder I honestly love to use it the simple way. In smoothies! Chocolate vega combined with snow, cashew milk, handful of spinach, cocoa powder, peanut flour somtimes, frozen banana and chocolate stevia drops. Therefore delish following a workout!
My favorite method to make use of protein natural powder is directly, no chaser! I really like a plant-based proteins shake (usually vanilla) with banana, coconut dairy, almond butter & sea salt very first thing each day!
Getting excited about attempting this brownie recipe because I haven’t really adored any baked goods made with coconut flour yet. I’m still buying coconut flour recipe to like. ?
To begin with may I just say this is my favorite blog page ever!!! Everything I’ve made from here is totally delicious and brings a smile to my face! My favorite method to make use of protein powder is to toss it into granola bars to provide them a supplementary filling kick!
