Wild Blueberry Banana Spinach Power Smoothie1

Hello. I want to proceed to tell you about how odd I am.
Last night I had this out of control craving for broccoli after my workout. Simply steamed broccoli with ocean salt and pepper. Quite ridiculous actually, but I completely needed it. So off to focus on I went. Except you know when you head into Target, it’s not like you’re strolling correct out. Nope, you are going to become there for at least one hour filling up your cart with stuff you never knew you needed. Classic example: Vanilla Cupcake Goldfish. They fundamentally taste like sweetened small pet cracker cookies. And if you’ve been here a while, you understand how I REALLY LIKE animal crackers (specifically frosted). Oh and also, coconut dairy conditioner. YUM.
I finally managed to leave Target with two bags full. By the time I got home I WAS STARVING. Do you get to the point where you’re so hungry which you can’t actually think? I thought about breaking open up a jar of peanut butter in my car in the trip home, but understood that wouldn’t lead to anything good.
Once home, I basically destroyed a whole handbag of steamed broccoli for dinner. Obviously that loaded me up, but only for one episode of The Vampire Diaries, therefore of course I needed to make something else. Since I’ve been really trying to clean up my diet plan (without the goldfish), I opted for one of the best power smoothies.
Really though, they’re SO far better then the common ones. I usually buy mine from Trader Joe’s, but if you cannot see them there, opt for organic blueberries. I promise you’ll notice the flavor difference.
This recipe is sweet, simple, and a wholesome way to start out your morning or to enjoy as a snack. Here’s why I find the following ingredients:
Blueberries. Obtain those antioxidants in as well as your skin will glow.
Banana. Healthy carbs and help thicken up the smoothie.
Spinach. This is where the strength comes in. Spinach can be full of vitamins and nutrients, and contains great fiber. Mix away – you won’t notice the flavor at all!
Strawberries. I really like what sort of taste combined with blueberries & banana. And they’re a great way to obtain vitamin C to greatly help improve your immune system.
Almond Air flow Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Dairy. Packed with calcium, supplement D, creamy and delicious; I’m an enormous fan. Their almond-coconut milk can be to perish for, too! Either will work within this smoothie.
A sprinkle of Chia Seeds. Did you know that Chia seeds include a healthful dose of omega-3s? In fact, they are one of the richest place sources around. They’re also packed with fiber and protein. Who knew just a little seed could be so powerful? Get a sprinkle on or better yet, blend them into the smoothie! Learn more about chia seed products here
If you’d like more protein within this smoothie, feel free to add a scoop of protein powder or 1/4 glass of greek yogurt.

1/2 frozen medium banana
1 cup baby spinach
Place all elements besides chia seed products into blender and blend until steady. Add more almond milk if smoothie can be too dense. Pour right into a chilled glass, sprinkle with chia seeds and further blueberries; enjoy!
Feel free to add 1/2 cup greek yogurt or a scoop of protein natural powder if you’d like more protein within this recipe.
Rather than blueberries, use raspberries or whatever berry you like best.
That smoothie looks so fluffy and delicious. I’m freezing bananas to make this tomorrow morning.
I’m happy I’m not the only one who is able to devour an enormous bowl of steamed broccoli. I really like it with just a little nooch.
